Why Older Walkers/Runners Need a Configured Racing Walker
Despite facing COLD and WINDY conditions, Bob delivered an outstanding performance:
Distance: 5.03 km
Moving Time: 40 minutes and 4 seconds
Average Speed: 7.5 kph
This race marked Bob's second-best 5-km time since his crash on April 25th, showcasing his determination and the effectiveness of his new racing walker. The worst of the headwinds hit during the first half of the race, especially in the second kilometer, with temperatures around 6°C and gusts of 20 km/h from the northwest.
Splits:
Km 1: 7:56 min
Km 2: 8:25 min
Km 3: 7:58 min
Km 4: 7:23 min
Km 5: 8:12 min
Despite the cold, the effort was well worth it, and Bob is gearing up for his next event, the Frozen Sole on November 15th.
Stay tuned for more updates on his journey and the benefits of using a Trionic racing walker!
