The St. Lawrence Marathon in Cornwall marked a significant moment as I tackled my 38th race with the Nitro Sprint.
The first few kilometers were smooth sailing, with comfortable speed and effortless walking. But as the terrain got steeper, the Nitro Sprint had a mind of its own. On the descents, it ran away from me, making walking difficult and leading to a few tumbles. Thankfully, the medics were on hand to patch me up, and although I sustained a painful shoulder, I escaped any serious head injuries.
Despite the setbacks, I'm optimistic about the Nitro Sprint's potential for track racing. It's like a specialized machine built for the track, offering unmatched performance and agility. And with the Canadian Transplant Games 5-km walk race on the horizon, I'm gearing up to represent Ontario with the Nitro Sport by my side.
Stay tuned for updates on my journey and upcoming races!
